Sage et Cie is a travel-inspired accessory collection handcrafted with natural materials in painterly prints. Former womenswear designer Renee LeFevre has shifted her focus from apparel design to textile design. She studied Apparel Design at ESMOD in Paris and Marketing and Communications at Boston University. She planted her roots in New York City and worked in womenswear for fourteen years. She currently resides on the South Shore of Massachusetts and paints travel-inspired collections using a traditional medium of gouache paint. The subtle variation of each motif is the beauty of the hand-painted art. While searching for interesting patterns, LeFevre began dreaming about the perfect handbags and accessories in her prints. She then launched Sage et Cie to bring a unique style to everyday items of notebooks, clutches and totes. All products are made in the USA and have exceptional craftsmanship.
Sage et Cie notebooks are made with 100% recycled paper and vegetable-based inks. They are handmade in Portland, Oregon.
Sage et Cie handbags are made with 100% unbleached cotton and 100% Italian vegetable-tanned vachetta leather. They are handmade in New York City.
